Wizkid visits Surulere where he was born and raised

Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid recently shared pictures of him in surulere where he was born and raised. Wizkid who is presently in the country after his tour with american rapper Future visited surulere where he grew up. The Ojuelegba crooner was well received by residents of the hood as some were seen hailing and fanning him. The singer shared the pictures on instagram with various captions like "Omo Logo", "Do it for my people", "Small London" etc.
Wizkid looked very excited to be back home from the pictures he shared, he was said to have drove into the hood in a rolls royce.
This hood thingy reminds of the American entertainment industry where celebrities are kind of associated with the city they grew up from like, Sean Carter( Jayz ) is commonly referred to as the Brooklyn boy. Kanye west is also often termed as the saviour of Chicago.. Same thing can also be said about olamide who is very proud and ever ready to to represent Bariga as his latest single WO was shot in the area he grew up in Bariga.
