Nas allegedly duped M.I

News reaching Greenflick blog indicates that Nigerian rapper M.I Abaga has taken his American counterpart NAS to court after the latter failed to deliver a rap verse for his song. M.I and his record label Chocolate city filed a lawsuit in New York state supreme court claiming Nas didn't deliver the rap verse they wanted. Nas and Mass Appeal Records' Ronnie Goodman are accused of duping Chocolate city after they were paid the rapper $ 50,000 for the verse.
in 2013, Nas and goodman signed an agreement to contribute a verse to a track from M.I. The details of the deal were that Nas was supposed to mention: M.I, Chocolate City, Nigeria, Queens,  Newyork, Mandela, Trayvon Martin and the struggles of Africans and African American. Nas did deliver the verse but the verse did not contain any of the subject matters according to the deal. Chocolate city were not satisfied so they asked him to rewrite the verse and three years after he still hasn't re written the verse unfortunately chocolate city had already made the $50, 000 payment, hence the law suit.
