Jennifer Lopez donates $1 million to hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico days after revealing that she hadn't heard from her family members over there.
she spoke during a press conference at the Jacob Javitz center in NewYork along side the governor NewYork.
The Bronx-born Lopez released an emotional video on the 22nd of September, where she encouraged other to help.
Hurricane Maria is the strongest hurricane to hit Puerto Rico since 1932. The hurricane pounded the island on the 20th of September killing at least 10 people,according to CNN it has left millions of people without power and the Engineers say it will take over a month to restore.
